Binaudios

We helped artist Dominic Wilcox create these “Binaudios,” a pair of ear horns which, when swept past the panorama from The Sage Gateshead, capture snippets and sound from across the city.

The whimsical design conceals a high-tech interior which contains a digital compass which triggers field recordings captured by Dominic when rotated to the corresponding angle.
