Framed Walnut Doors

26 internal doors, 2 sets of sliding doors and a solid Walnut front door and 3 garages for this very discerning customer.

What made these doors special was the extra-deep door frames (10") which gave the doors a substantial feel and presence within their spaces.

We hand-cut all the veneers from solid material ourselves which allowed us to pick and arrange prime sections to give the appearance of solid horizontal planks without the issues of expansion and contraction.

To ease fitting for their on-site joiner we developed a click-together system which meant that all the frame mitres were cut in our workshop and easily assembled with no trimming or cutting on site. This also allows the pre-finishing of components to save time on-site.
